Transvaal is a beautiful neighborhood that in recent years is going  through a mayor transformation. These interventions are mainly aimed on bricks. The executed plans have led to fragmentation of the area and especially of the public space. Subsequently, these big plans also had their impact on the social cohesion of the neighborhood. Within the structural vision The Hague has chosen tramline 11 as a mayor carrier. This with the aim to connect several existing grades within the district. They also want to boost the area by  creating new programm in the area.

Within the ABCD of a colorful line 11 I would respond by mainly focusing on the qualities that are already present within the area, with the aim of social cohesion within the district to strengthen it and make  the district more coherent.

For this I use elements from the Asset Based Community Development principle (Kretzmann and McKnight 1993). This approach assumes through mapping and mobilizing talents and skills in each local community are present, from within work on economically, culturally and socially vital neighborhood.
